I paid 2.99 for a single of Brewer's Cut Witbier, I got fucked.
Solid witbier though, bold flavor; a bit thick but matching the weather.

Oh and there's pretty fresh FW DJ around, 10/18/13 at CM N lamar.
    Brown Shugga at Twin Hancock.
FBS and BBQ almost everywhere in ATX.

Went to JK today for some AR and managed to score some BB4 at Stanley's. They also had some BB5.

You and Miguel cleared out the cooler for BB4. There was one left when I went to buy some at 9pm. :grinning:

Haha! There were 5 total in the cooler I think. Don't worry thought I think Stanley's has an infinite supply of BB4 it looks like

Edit: Make that six, apparently one of them was open when she pulled it out of the cooler

Yeah it was one of the main reasons I wanted to make sure I went to Stanley's before 9. I'm also glad she saw one of them was semi open or I would have never seen it, I don't think. I hope they still have more.

True beer nerds... I bring news of 2013 Barrel-Aged Human Blockhead straight from Schmaltz founder Jeremy Cowan. It was supposed to be a September/October release, but was up in the air after the Coney Island sale/rebranding (they're no longer distributing in TX and also no longer making Human Blockhead).

Anyways... It's still sitting in Buffalo Trace barrels at Schmaltz and they will be releasing it under the Schmaltz label in 2014. So it should be making its way to TX!

What happened to Schmalz? I liked the Blockhead.

Nothing happened to Schmaltz... they're kicking ass and just opened their very own brewery in NY. They sold the Coney Island brand that they previously owned to Alchemy & Science (a subsidiary of Boston Beer Co). A&S owns and is acquiring a number of regional breweries... Coney Island will be their New York area brewery the way I understand it.

Coney is no longer distributed in Texas from what I understand, so yes... If there's some you want, I'd buy it.

Their new branding is completely different. More nostalgic, no freaks.
