Expected Releases in November.

I heard delayed till Jan/Feb about a month ago.

 

It was bottled earlier this month, do you mean the distribution is delayed to Texas?

 

I think Central Market and Halls are the only places in Tarrant County with Boon. They seem to get Kriek, Geuze, and Framboise.

None of them even knew about ether one. The beer guy at HEB Buffalo Speedway didnt even know about the normal Rodenbach or Grand Cru. He stared at me like I was talking greek.

so has spec's midtown publicly said anything about releasing BCBS on friday? are people getting this straight from joey or just assuming they'll have it?

BCBS will be in Houston early next week and will see distribution into the Houston market starting late next week.

Black Friday is a go at Spec's on Smith, barring a distributor truck explosion, or a delay from Inbev. It may actually leak out to a few other places that Friday as well but no one knows.

Why does no one know? Because Silver Eagle has no idea how much BCBS will be on the delivery truck. Could be a shit ton where we all get 4-packs and bombers, OR, it could be so little that Spec's and other places limit it to single (12oz.) bottles of the variants. Unfortunately Silver Eagle won't know till the Inbev truck opens its doors.

I would assume that they will find the allocation tomorrow or Tuesday, ship to stores Wed or Thursday, and we will hear from Spec's downtown the limit and allotment before we all freeze our asses off outside Friday morning to determine if it's worth it.

But heh, what do I know. Don't blame me if I'm wrong.

 

I already have my tent set up at Specs on Smith. Where's everyone else?

But seriously I don't think it'll be a crazy release like the Special St. Arnold's beers are. I'll prob be there around 9 and hope for the best. See you guys there

I talked to him a few weeks ago and he said Black Friday was a go. They are also releasing BWB that day too.

 

Friday morning looks like a nice time to stand in line in downtown Houston. Low to mid 40s, no rain. I'll bring coffee and the adult diapers. (Too much info?)

 

So looking forward to BF at Spec's. Getting my wife to come with me....Its my Christmas present hahahah
