Expected Releases in September

I picked up coconut in the Coconut IPA... but only after it warmed up. Mango and citrus flavors from the hops dominated the flavor.

They should've just retitled it "Tropical IPA" (West Coast IPA w/ coconut) and everyone would have lurved it, ha! Putting Coconut as the first word in the beer's name was not a great plan.

 

Fresh Squeeze was great. Especially for 6%.I hope I can find more.

 

Tried the r&r last night nothing coconut in the taste, was a good tropical IPA but lutter is right with coconut in the name I wanted to taste coconut

 

I made a quick beer run before kick off, and there was a full shelf of R&R and Fresh Squeezed at the WC & Brodie HEB as of noon today.

"fresh" fresh squeezed has hit Austin. On tap at hopfields and I got a bottle at central market.
The nice guy at e1g said he will have it tomorrow.

 

They posted on Facebook around 1:00 today that they have it. (E1G, that is). Just FYI

Anything new coming out this week or next? I am putting in my 2 week notice at work and will be escorted out (going to competitor) so I will have time to hit Downtown Specs at opening. Never been able to do that before!

Does anyone know if Houston is getting DDBA? I know Dallas got some last week and my dad picked me up a few...

 

Specs downtown had a display of FW on Friday and had Double Jack in four-packs! I love finding a really good IIPA in small-bottle multipacks as opposed to bombers. Don't find that often.

 

Ya I grabbed some DJ in 4 pack from D&Q last weekend. So awesome.

Twin Liquors had DJ 4-packs for $7 the other day... my eyes almost popped out of my skull. Sadly they were from May, so I passed... lol. HEB next door had August bottles for $12.

 

I have some double jack that's collecting dust if anyone wants old beer... In fact I have a bunch of old beers that a few jerk offs sent as extras that I consider offensive. Feels like they pawned off their past-prime age beers on me.

 

"Gawd, now what can I throw in here that I don't want to fill this box?"

 

One of them is a 5% ABV beer that was brewed last year and is not a style to age.
