Hi everyone newbie here...I couldn't find anything directly addressing my question so here it is....

I bought a case of Expedition today that came out of the fridge at the store. Can I still store it unrefridgerated in my basement cellar ?

I am concerned about skunking it although from what I read that is more a light issue than temp ?

I bought two six packs off the shelf last year and they were amazing when I drank them. I do not know if those six packs of Expedition were ever refrigerated though.

I am not a brewer yet just a beer lover.

    Thanks in advance,
    Doug

As long as your basement stays a pretty consistently cool temp and also doesn't have a tendency to flood, that would be a perfect place to age it. Light and high temp are your only real concerns for aging beers.
