So a friend of mine gave me a pound of Comet hops. I brewed 100% Comet white IPA to showcase and learn what Comet contributes. I like the hop taste thus far. Very slightly grassy, but not intrusive at all. Mostly grapefruit zest, not grapefruit juicy. I feel it could use a little more aroma. These hops seem to get no love and many warn of their potency used for dry hopping. Anyone have experience dry hopping with Comet? I don't really want to add an additional hop, as that would erode a little learning. I was thinking I'd keep dose small and go for it, maybe 1 oz.

I can see using Comet 1:4 ...with almost any hop, but it's a much better bittering hop, imho

I like comet a lot. Kinda simcoe / columbus. Pretty strong, but i guess it's not super distinctive.
