Nothing. Forgot the HF porters are 500mL.

    I disagree.
The Wiegand 500ml is easily as capable of bludgeoning as their 750ml. Seriously. That 500ml can be throw onto concrete or a granite rock and still not shatter... has to be a flaw in the glass itself.

what's the etiquette on this? is it industry standard for a brewery to offer a replacement?

I stand corrected. You'd certainly would know better than I! I may have been thinking more of the pliny/jacks abby style 16.9's as being the lighter glass ones.

I took four bottles of Everett to a "Secret Beer Society" share at a music fest this weekend. 3 bottles made for 4 almost full pint servings, truly delicious, top notch, enjoyed by everyone, with a bottle to spare for me and the host later on. Well, the drunk of the group helped himself to the 4th bottle for himself......leading to my head almost exploding like the bottle pictured above. The initial shock was palpable, but I recovered.......

My personal feeling is that if the beer was purchased at our shop (which it had to have been...)and exploded on the way home, yes. If it was aged for months in a cellar, with no way of our knowing what happened to the bottle or its condition, no... Meaning: it left our brewery in one piece, but what happened after many months remains unknown to us and its condition. This has never happened with a bottle of Everett before... (as far as we know).

I've had many, many bottles of Everett, and none has exploded. Every single one that I have opened, though, has had its contents disappear within a matter of minutes after opening. In fact, this has happened with every Hill Farmstead bottle I have purchased (375mL, 500mL, & 750mL). Is this something I can contact the brewery about having these bottles replaced??
