Expresso Oak Aged Yeti

    Because my last final is tomorrow I went out and purchased an expensive beer as
    far as college salaries go. The yeti was a 12.99 bomber. I wanted to see if that was comparable to what anyone has seen and also how the beer compares and what to expect.

    A little high on the price but an excellent beer and good choice.

    Great choice. It is an exceptional brew, hope you enjoy it.

    If you like coffee in your beer, definitely have this one as fresh as possible, because it really mellows out with age.

    I'll echo what others have said.....a tad overpriced but a tasty,tasty,treat.One of my favs.!

    It's 10 bucks at liquor stores where I am, so that is probably a fine price, might be cheaper if you have an alternative.

    I'm obviously not an english major :flushed:
    the bottled date on this is january of this year and its headed for the fridge now.
    Does this compare to terrapin WnB?

    I love every variant of Yeti I've had, which is more or less all of them.

    There are no bad Yetis. My fav is Chocolate. Preferred it even over the BA.

    I disagree. Infected BA Yeti sucks. Otherwise yeah they are all varying levels of good for the most part.

    Fresh WnB is like drinking iced coffee, no joke. Espresso Yeti has a lot more complexity to it, thanks to the barrel-aging, but is still very coffee-forward if you have it sooner rather than later.

    Yeah I had a WnB and was alittle overwhelmed by the coffee also Lagunitas Cappachino Stout

    Delicious beer...smells like powdered nestle chocolate milk mix and taste isn't much different.

    I might go drink my Espresso Yeti tonight just because of this thread. I have one from the same bottle date. I have had that bottle date as recently as last week and the coffee was still very noticeable. It is a very good beer and an excellent choice for celebrating the end of finals.

    Those are great prices. Best I can do on them is $10.49.
