So, I'd like to put a recipe and process together for this weekend. This is what I've got so far.

    • 2# Pilsner LME
    • 2# Wheat LME
Heat kettle to 180F adding all LME at beginning. Cool to What temp? and pitch a lacto culture. Keep at high temps for 2.5 days (best I can do). Bring wort to boil adding hops at beginning for 15 minutes. Cool and pitch what type of yeast?

Is this as simple as I think it is?

Please provide some feedback, I wrote this quick I'm definitely missing some things.

the color is likely to not be exactly where you want it, if you consider that an issue
any extract recipe i've always done has turned out pretty dark; its easy to caramelize it.

i also second upping the amount of wheat (for the same reason)

for example says theirs is 65% wheat 35% barley; so maybe 3:1 if you're looking for close to 50/50?
