    Yes. 4 ticket limit per session, per order. And no. Last year was 8. We've never done 5 before; that's an odd number.

    We're already 40% sold within the first hour of ticket sales, which beats last year.

    Thanks to everyone who pulled the trigger early. It's going to be an epic fest.

    Curious as to why session 2 is selling out so fast. Do a lot of people hit bars afterward or do we simply have a lot of day drinkers in our midst?

    Saturday afternoon is traditionally the more relaxed session. That might not be true anymore, but the night sessions had a drunker reputation (aka- pregaming). I know we always do the afternoon, relax at someone's apartment for a few hours, then head out for dinner and another beer or two. Afternoon allows for pacing the day and waking up OK. Saturday evening turns into an extended drunk fest for many. Just my two cents.

    It's always been like this. And it's a combination of a few things from our experience/feedback:
    • As you suggested, people can still go out at night.
    • Many think that if they go Saturday afternoon they won't miss out on certain beers, but this is a myth. Brewers ration their beers for each session.
    • Some think the afternoon session is more relaxed, and the night session is a drunk fest. It's a popular misconception, and there's really no hard proof. The night session vibe is more fun (some people don't like fun), but that's about it.
