They always tend to be near the end because @Todd and @Jason usually collaborate on a beer with Sam. They will be bringing crazy and delicious beers as always!

We brewed something that's far more interesting.

Knowing Dogfish it involves some strange ingredient like pubic hair yeast or horse hooves

    RE: Coat Check:

Another HUGE Yes to the coat check from my group of 5. The small bottleneck was worth the giant benefit of not having to carry a bulky coat around.

Or perhaps hopping the beer through one of those ingredients using its Randall machine?

This will be my first EBF. Any tips/tricks I should know beforehand?

Make sure you are part of a pre-fest bottle share.

Drink lots of water, LOTS. When you think you've had enough drink some more. Take time to eat before and even during. go in with a small list of beers you really want to try and after that just explore and find more to have. This isn't a normal fest a lot of beers are very strong and will catch up to you quick

    Don't skip breakfast.
    Do drink lots of water.
Don't hesitate to dump out any samples that you're not feeling.
Do take a few minutes and get some food at the fest (if they're there, KO Pies makes some of the best beer fest food of all time).
Don't commit to any concrete plans for after the fest aside from getting home safely.

Have fun and drink a lot of kickass beer.

Don't underestimate that advice, it's easy to have a disconnect because the sample sizes are small. You wouldn't drink 12 ounces of a 10%+ beer in 5-10 minutes at home or at a bar. It's easy to not realize you're drinking 12 ounces of different 10% beers in 5 minutes from 3 or 4 different breweries.

    Also PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

take advantage of Uber or Lyft as a first choice and public transport as a second option. Yes it will cost you a bit more but you will know that you're getting home safe and you don't have to navigate Boston at night (for 2 of the 3 sessions) in the winter.

Finally bring ONLY WHAT YOU MUST HAVE. Every year people lose things and while there is a lost & found more often then not it ends in you searching for it instead of enjoying the festival.

It's still kind of early, but we'll send out a note to the brewers and encourage them to post any events.

This will be my first EBF as well, and i was wondering if there are going to be lists of beers the breweries will serve at each session, or if it's decided by them at the last minute and not something posted ahead of time.

Any idea if they have the list anywhere inside EBF? Just wondering if I should print a copy and have it in my back pocket, or if I can find printed listings or large signs hanging there. Thanks.
