Where can I purchase their beers? They are available in MN, WI, TX, ND, SD, MI, NYC, NJ, CT, PA, IN, CA, and sometimes overseas.
So this brewery is a co-op with members who vote on stuff? Yes, lifetime and sustaining members vote on the direction of the brewery and can run for the Board of Directors. You can become a member by visiting the taproom or signing up here: https://fairstate.coop/join/
Can I purchase their beer at the brewery? Yes, crowlers, bottles, and cans are available at the brewery. The to-go options aren't listed online but they usually have a good selection, including 12oz and 16 oz cans, which is a new thing in Minnesota. Don't ask...
Where can I find a draft list of their beers? The current draft list can be found here: https://fairstate.coop/location/taproom/
What's this about New Beer Thursday? Yep, they release new beers on Thursdays (but not every Thursday and not only on Thursday). But Thursday is a pretty good choice in my book.
How about some merch and N/A options? Check it out here: https://shop.fairstate.coop/ The Hop Water is pretty darn tasty.

Today is the release of Eleven Degrees, a Czech-style dark lager, which should be pretty popular if it's like Tmavé Pivo (there are quite a few similarities). This is the first New Beer Thursday release of the year (last week saw the release of Chill State Pineapple Express, but that wasn't a beer and didn't happen on Thursday).

Forgot say cheers to @Jaycase for setting a great template for a brewery thread, and apologizes for blatantly stealing it.

If I had one useful idea, it's one more than I thought I was capable! You've done a much better job than I have in OP. Nicely done! We received some occasional FSBC drops last year (had Side Pull from one of them and enjoyed it) so hoping we see some more in 2023. Cheers to FSBC and to you!

Nah... @gudbrande did great but you brought the funnies. OP for the win.

Eleven Degrees, 4.4% ABV Czech dark lager is excellent. In the taproom it's on the side pull, but the cans are great too. Crushable

Agree on the side pull, was really fantastic. Haven't had it out of the can yet but I think it's at least as good as Tmavé Pivo.

I should go get this. Tmavé Pivo was amazing.

Slow it up (oak aged pilsner) is worth checking out. It's a bit more hoppy than I expected but it's not an IPL or anything. The rest in oak foeder seems to have added a nice, sort of rustic element to the beer that balances the hop additions (Huell Melon, Triple Pearl, and cryo Citra).

Fair State was one of my favorite twin cities breweries so I was happy to see their beers in Ohio.

Unfortunately I've only seen IPAs. Are they still making roselle?

NEW BEER THURSDAY: BARREL-AGED STOUT DOUBLE RELEASE

Taproom release March 23rd. One port barrel-aged stout (The Purplest Tooth) and one cognac barrel-aged stout. Didn't find any info on to-go options but I hope the cognac is available to-go. They're offering beer poking on the 23rd plus the option to take home a branded lowball glass. Not sure a lowball glass is my first choice for a stout but, you know, Fair State gonna Fair State.

Yes Roselle is at least available in the mixed 12 pack and I think it's usually in the cooler at the taproom. Haven't really looked for it myself but I'm happy to help out if you want some beer mail.

Kold is indeed a damn fine Kolsch. Easily one of the better American-made examples I've tried.

Took me a minute to get to the taproom but I can report that the Cognac stout and the Purplest Tooth are not available to-go. Bummer because the Cognac is delish.
