Aloha - I am taking my parents on a trip in July. We will be staying the night of July 10th in Fairview Heights off of the 159/N. Illinois exit. I have seen in another thread that Randall's is the best liquor store in the immediate area. I am wondering if this is still the case.? Not to be rude, but I will not be traveling more than 2-3 miles to go to any stores, so, please don't suggest going to St. Louis, or any place else. I'm strictly looking for something that is close to this exit and Randall's seems to be the store to go to. I will also be posting an IP trade for that night, if anyone is interested. I have quite a bit of Prairie Pirate Bomb and Apple Brandy Noir for trade.
Dean's Liquor in Collinsville, IL (shouldn't be too far depending on where in Fairview Heights you are staying) has a nice small, but decent craft beer selection. They get some harder to find stuff that tends to sit for a while as well.
Thanks @FBarber for the heads-up about Dean's. It's close enough that I may be able to go by there after dinner. Spending a lot of time going around St. Louis looking for beer, while traveling with elderly, disabled parents, is just not happening, so Dean' may be a viable option.
