Just went to the bottle shop and got 4-pack 16.9oz cans Paulaner Oktoberfest Bier $8.99. If it made it to Hawaii then everyone on the Mainland should have it by now. There were no pumpkin beers or any other Oktoberfest beers. Looking at all the postings I feel like I'm missing out a lot as I haven't seen most of them here ever.

Hopefully there's a beer distributor reading this that can convince their company that they need to come to Hawaii to explore the beer market here. There must be someone willing to make the sacrifice to come here.

Yes! I absolutely refuse to drink O-fests until after Labor Day and usually wait until @ September 15. I'm generally still in the Summer frame of mind until then. I buy them early of course.
    That's just me though.

I also switch to steaming my crabs in O-fest once I start drinking then.

Same dates on the 6-pack. I think I paid $8.50

Wow. Sorry I can't recall how far you are from the city.

Of course, buying the 12-pack brought my price down to $7 a six.

Fortunately, the beer is far from a drain pour, if not spot-on to style.

Well -- hell, where did you find a sale price, Binny's?

I am half-mile away from Woodman's, they are almost invariably cheaper than Binny's, and have a much better selection, at least compared to the nearest store.

    PS. I don't view $8.50 for a domestic 6x12oz as a sale price.

Heh -- I was comparing it to the $10 price I saw.

Woodman's in Lakemoore (or Volo, or wherever), or Buffalo Grove?

Asking because I was planning to hit the Volo location on Wednesday and wondered what might be in stock.

Buffalo Grove. You can use their online shopping tool, it gives reasonable representation of what is available. Searching for "beer" and sorting by price may produce some very nice finds.

Lakemoor's site isn't showing a lot of Oktos -- hope it just needs updating.

Based on what BG has it should have Paulaner, both marzen and wiesn in every possible kind of packaging, H-P, Warsteiner, Shiner and S-N. No Ayinger, Weihenstefan, Spaten, Hoffbrau or any other domestics as far as I can remember. I, myself, am planning a border run on Thursday.

Had the Paulaner marzen, awesome as usual. Gonna pick up a six of Narragansett fest soon, $11 for a six of 16oz pounders is a good deal to me.

I went to that website and saw how cheap beer is there compared to here. Kind of depressing. I guess beer distributors have to have some way to pay for their "work" trips when they come here to visit. Either that or the beers must ship here first class.

We have a heat wave coming through NE CT so I'll still be reaching for some Summer Shandy's this weekend. With that being said, I did take a stroll through one local place and saw VonTrapp's Oktoberfest along with ST's Pumking & Warlock, now on the shelves. Still enjoying summer while looking forward to fall!

Found 2 Oktoberfests I was really hoping to find. It's hotter than hell in DFW but considering it's going to be this way through late September, I've kicked it into full swing.

Ayinger Oktoberfest, bottled on the 126th day of 2021 (May 6)

Avery The Kaiser, canned July 23rd.
