    Anyone else finding some nice deals on seasonal beers from 2015?

    Drinking $4.99 six-packs of Abita Christmas (dark ale with a best by 3/28/16). Still tastes very fresh.

    I was looking at some $5.99 six packs of Smuttynose pumpkin but not sure if I should pull the trigger...

    Oddly, there are a lot of age worthy Christmas Belgians that are on sale at Total Wine where I live. I wish they would leave the St. Bernardus Christmas Ale where it is and regularly discount aging IPAs.

    I'm seeing a lot of Belgians on sale. I haven't bought any. I probably should have but something inside says, "let's move on. Christmas 2015 is over."

    I noticed a few shops near me have sent out emails with some Christmas beer sales and I agree, it's a good time to stock up on some Belgians to age.

    One of the owners at our favorite bottle shop said the mark downs on Christmas & winter beers starts next week. Considering we have a long slog to spring up here on the tundra, we'll do some stocking on the winter warmers.

    Recently saw a stack of cases of Goose Island 2015 Oktoberfest at a rock bottom price. Wish I liked it as much as Sierra Nevada's 2015 Okto.

    Now, if I see the Goose Island Festivity Ale at the same discount I'll be all over it!

    The stores I work at have Summit Winter ale 6 packs and Sierra Nevada's Snowpack 12 packs on sale for $4.99 and $7.99 respectively. The spring beers are already in the warehouses, ready to go

    Ehhh, for me once the season passes, my interest for those types of brews drops off fairly quickly. I tried having a pumpkin ale mid summer, and just couldn't do it. I missed my chance to have my traditional Anchors Christmas Ale 2015 so I'll wait till next year. I usually pick up a 12 pack of Celebration to keep for mid summer, however by then you can tell the hops have faded away and it's more malty. I'm seeing a lot of SA Coldsnap already but I'm not ready for spring beers yet.

    February is right around the corner and for me, Winter means only one thing: BigFoot.

    Picked up a $1 single of Stone IPA that was about 8 weeks old. You could taste the age, but still a good buy.
