    Greetings from Texas, fellow BA's!

I have a buddy of mine Traveling to Fall River, MA for the holidays and he offered to pick some beer up from there. I let him know he needs to try and get up to Tired hands and Night Shift, but I am not sure if it is possible.

Is there any recommended bottle shops near Fall River where he can pick up any of the following: 50/50, Cascade, Hoppin' Frog, Jolly Pumpkin, Night Shift, etc etc.

Just trying to get some stuff I can't here in TX. Thanks for any help you can provide!

Depends on where he is coming from. Is he flying into Boston or Providence (which is actually Warwick, but that's another story)?

I believe he is flying into Boston. He will stay a few nights in that hotel right by the airport over looking the bay (maybe a hilton?) so he can see the fireworks.

Sorry about fall river. Tell him that I feel his pain.

But, to answer your question, the closest store thats worth your time in any way is most likely going to be Yankee Spirits in Swansea, MA. It'll be about a 10-15 minute drive for him depending on what part of the reev he's in.

Haha. Yeah. I went with him once to see his family and it was like I was in a different world. Great Portugese food though!

Thanks for your help. I will have him check it out for me.

What He said. Yankee there is a quick trip up 295, and will have just about anything that's distributed in the area.
For Idle Hands, Mystic, Nightshift and so forth, he may have to go out in Boston, but that's worth it to go to Trillium in South Boston anyway.

    Killer amp, BTW, Orange...

Hey, I'm another Texan who is also staying in the Fall River area (Somerset, across the Braga) over the holidays! Yesterday I did the drive up to Cambridge Brewing, Trillium, and Night Shift. The Night Shift guys are great, they loved my Atrial Rubicite t-shirt. And their beers are fantastic. Will get to Jack's Abby some point soon too. As far as beer buying stores, I've been frequently overwhelmed with the selection at Yankee Spirits in Swansea (I saw DDBA, Rye on Rye 2013, and Bois on the shelves there today), and on Friday I found Bourbon County four packs (bw, coffee, and regular) at Somerset Liquors. They probably still have some, saw Utopia there too.

Did you have any Bourbon County BW or Coffee 4-packs to trade? I will be in Berkley for xmas this week (about 20 min from Somerset). I live in Vermont and have plenty of Double Sunshine, Sticky, and Heady for an IP trade. Message me if interested.

Excellent news. Def want to snag some bourbon county bw and coffee. I'll have him hit up the somerset store. I really wish I was going to be the one going. I've been dying to visit Night Shift for their Art series!

Art #14 is legitimately my favorite Berliner Weisse now. Very good stuff.
