All - I'm using those round Rubbermaid 10 gallon coolers for my AG set up. Wondering what you all liked for a false bottom in yours? Anything by anyone particularly stand out as being better than the rest?
I made my first false bottom using slotted copper pipe. Worked pretty well as a batch sparge set-up, used it for about 10 years before shifting to an electric brew in the bag system.
I use 10 gallon coolers and this is what I use. Works really well and has minimal dead space. It creates a nice suction off the bottom and gets most of the liquid. I have never had a stuck sparge https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00N...lse+bottom&dpPl=1&dpID=61lRHvXc7OL&ref=plSrch Here's the set up with the spigot http://www.brewinternational.com/co...MIqqvSzLL71gIVyx6GCh06Sw5WEAQYBSABEgJdDfD_BwE
I'm a big bazooka tube fan. Have it on a 10 gallon Home Depot cooler and one on a 100qt Coleman extreme. Simple, it works, and cheap.
your welcome! I didn't purchase those exact ones because they came with my cooler set I bought, but they look identical to those and they work great!
