    Guys - it's Shaun

And while I don't deny there's plenty of "buzz" around HF (with a massive chunk being beer nerd driven), I don't think anyone can say that he is not a highly skilled brewer.

I find the thought that a brewer can be famous unsettling.

What Shaun has built in the middle of nowhere is quite amazing. Though he did not invent the destination farm brewery- he certainly perfected it. Plus the fact he (and The Alchemist crew) are almost single handedly responsible for the explosion of NE ales.

I have extras of the beard hair insert series. I think I need a beer thinking about the all money I spent on cards as a kid and then moving them around with me as an adult.

Lots of good names already mentioned.

I would like to give a shout out to Shane Welch of Sixpoint. This year he has taken the packaged Sixpoint beers to another level!!

    Cheers to Shane!!

I don't know about PUKE gaining me sobriety points. After that, I usually find myself in bed.

I'd thrown in Matt Brynildson of Firestone Walker. He seems to have a reputation as a technical prodigy. Maybe Chad Yakobson of Crooked Stave, an authority on brett.

    GI notable Alumi:
John Laffler - Off Color (used to brew a beer you may have heard of)
    Jared Rouben - Moody Tongue

Off Color's offerings have been very good. Can't wait to try their stuff at FoBAB this year. Haven't had any of the Moody Tongue.

From what I read, all those excellent breweries in VT have to thank Greg Noonan for helping to start the craft explosion in that area

There's been a few of them:slight_smile: Mark Stevens could probably be credited with guiding the overall business while Dave Engbers has been more of the public relations face imo.
