Well, while I would normally say no one, obviously, I would be mistaken.

and, um... not to point out the obvious, but isn't it another two hours (OK, one hour and 50 minutes now) before Upright opens its doors?

Sorry, not Mia hamm, some defender from Kansas, but whatever. And yes, still almost two hours till open, just hanging out. Someone got here at 10ish?

    LOL

This year, due to a slightly larger batch, there will be a 3 bottle limit at $20 a bottle for sale at the Tasting Room this Friday, January 2nd, beginning at 4:30, and the bottles are anticipated to last throughout the whole weekend.

Now I'm curious. Is there an ad agency or film studio in Uprights basement? How does an Adidas commercial come to filmed right in the midst of Satan's lair?

Any word on the line and how the release is going?

There was no line at all at 5:30 for draft beer or bottles. Not to say it wasn't busy down there, but things were well organized and moving along.

Just got back from Upright. Had a few beers on tap with the wife and bottles were still readily available. It was a fairly crowded taproom though.

gotta love releases where you can waltz in a couple hours after opening and get what you want without waiting in line.

Fantasia seemed a little more tart this year than i recall previous ones being, still great though.

Nice crowd there today around 2pm. Not crowded, quick line, busy feel. Had the fatali four on draft for the first time. Really enjoyed it. A sharing bottle. I love lots of spice but chili beers aren't a style I like very much. The tart and heat was nice. Looking forward to getting in to a Fantasia. Had a blend love from last year. Tasting great. Upright is becoming a favorite.

Anyone know if they ended up selling out last night? Probably gonna stop by this afternoon and pick up a bottle if they still have any.

So there's a bunch of Fantasia left, the six cases mentioned above were just what was out front - there's a lot more in back.

On the other hand, The Commons sold out of Crème de Pêche yesterday - marking the first time I've missed out on one of their Beetje releases. Hopefully they take a cue from Upright and start putting bottle limits on their small batch stuff.
