Crème de Pêche was released 12/27, I think 8 days is giving most people a fair shot at it.

Oh definitely, I'm just not used to stuff selling out there so quickly. Trillium lasted at least two or three weeks. I just never understood making a small batch of something and then letting people walk out with cases of it. Most breweries put bottle limits on their limited stuff so I don't think it's a very controversial opinion.

I'm guessing with their new location under construction right now and all of the related financial burdens, that they'd prefer to get $$$ for their ready-to-sell products as fast as possible.

Also, the whole 'walking out with cases of it' thing is only really in an issue if it sells out extremely quickly and there are plenty of people left waiting who didn't get any. To bring it back to Fantasia - exactly what happened two years ago before they reduced limits to 3 bottles/person.

EDIT: Although I do agree with you - if the Beetje releases start selling out in 30 minutes with a line of people still there, limits should be warranted.

Good point; and in that case, I'm glad they sold out so quickly. Looking forward to seeing the new spot.

Since this is the only Fantasia thread I've seen, I figure I'll ask here...

    Did Fantasia survive the weekend?

Seeing as though the taproom is closed today, there is no option for me to buy bottles right? Unfortunately I'm only in town today, and it didn't realize that HotD and Upright would both be closed.

As I posted earlier, they said they still had a bunch of cases when I was there Sunday - don't remember the number exactly but I want to say it was 20+.

    Since I missed your edit-

I wonder if it would have lasted 8 days if it weren't released around the holidays - I'm sure I wasn't the only one out of town around that time. I also wonder if it actually lasted that long since they posted on Facebook that they were down to the last few cases the day after the release. Anyway, no big deal, but I am open to trade offers if someone has an extra bottle to share

I picked up bottles on Sunday at 5:30pm (about 1/2 hour before close) and they said they had more cases left that would definitely last till Thursday.

They were open yesterday (they're always open an hour before tip-off for home Blazers games), and bottles were still available.
