I realize the whole Venn diagram thing is in play here, but what do you think; 2:2 or 2:3.......2:1 ? I've tried to do the research, looking at past trades and questions here, just not sure on this one. And I know that anything is possible given the right person, just want to make sure I'm not way off base. Thanks for any help, and to clarify I have the Fantasia's and want some AftW's.
I think this one is probably pretty fair at 1:1. I'd say 3:2 if the bottles were the same size, but since they're not... You'll just have to find the right person. I love AftW so much I wouldn't trade my bottles unless I had an offer I couldn't refuse. I'm sure you'll find people to disagree with me though.
Lately it seems like the trade value of Fantasia has skyrocketed while AftW demand has leveled off. I would guess you could get something like 3 AftW for 2 Fantasia pretty easily.
That's a great question. Assuming all things were equal (ageability, cost, size...) I would say Adam FTW still holds a bit more weight. It sold out in ~1hr and only 70 or so people got some on release day. I think you may find someone that would do a 1:1, but I think 3 bottles of Fantasia for 2 bottles of Adam FTW is a closer deal (with something thown in to balance cost). Full disclosure: I have both and have no desire to trade, but this is what I think.
As someone who has bottles of both, Fantasia is great, but honestly, I wouldn't trade AftWs for it. At what it'd cost, I'd much prefer to reserve these for a higher caliber beer like Fou' Foune.
