Looking to renew a league that took place last year. It will be a H2H one win league on Yahoo and the buy in is 72 oz of beer per person (if you do not place top 3). How you come up with those oz are up to you. There are fourteen teams and at the end of the season the top three teams "draft" the losing teams. Ideally, we get people from all over the country in different distribution footprints. The top three teams do not have to purchase beer or ship anything, the bottom eleven teams will ship their boxes to the top three. The first team gets six boxes, the second place team gets three boxes, and the third place team gets two boxes. As mentioned earlier, the winners essentially draft the losers. We get a list of all the cities and states the bottom eleven teams reside in and you go in order (1-2-3-1-2-3-1-2-1-1-1) picking the teams that live in areas you would like to ship beer from. This is how we did it last season and it worked out perfectly. You do not purchase your beer until the end of the year to make sure everything is fresh and because you may not have to buy anyways! There is a live draft, day and time will take place on a Friday night or sometime over the weekend and we will determine this based on the majority of the leagues availability to do so. Categories are: R, HR, RBI, SB, BA, BB W, SV, HLD, ERA, WHIP, K:BB Rosters will consist of C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF, OF, OF, DH, SP, SP, SP, SP, SP, RP, RP, RP, P, P, P, BN x 5, DL x 3, and one NA slot. This aims for a realistic league. It's a 25 man roster with one DH, everyone has at least a five man rotation, we count holds because setup men should be as important as closers (plus you cannot equally distribute 30 closers to 14 teams), with solid bench and DL slots and an extra spot for a rookie stash. We also do one win because just like in real matchups, it doesn't matter if you win 20-1 or 2-1, a win is a win. There are two divisions, the division winners automatically earn the top two seeds and then the remainder of the teams are placed into the postseason based on overall record regardless of division. Six teams advance to postseason. If you are interested, leave a comment. We are looking for serious managers only, no dead teams. Do not join if you will flake out or lose interest.
