Hey everyone, -10 or 12 teams (depending on interest) -Standard Rosters -Standard Scoring w/ PPR -Will be on Yahoo -Minimum of 10 good trades on BA Rules: -During the preseason, we will have a mini-BIF where each player will send a box of good quality local beers (no rating minimum, 72 oz+) to another randomly assigned player. -Every 3 weeks the top scoring player in that segment will receive ~22oz of >=95 rated beer (one bomber, or two 12 oz) from each of the lowest 6 scoring players. -The winners will receive a box of at least 64 oz of >=95 rated beer at the end of the season. Winning boxes will depend on 10 or 12 player league, but the 3rd place will get one box, and 1st and 2nd will get multiple boxes. PM if interested!
I'd be interested, but shipping a box every 3 weeks seems excessive, you should see my FedEx bill as-is.
We run one very similar, except we have the extra note that the 6 losers every 3 weeks can't ship twice in a row. That way someone that sticks isn't shipping every 3 weeks.
I did this last year and it worked out pretty well. I think it adds more fun to the season, and can potentially give a lot of different people some great beer. I think last year each 3 week segment was won by a different person.
