I'm a pretty big fan of Fantome and have friends who always check out their local stores all over IL, and I have never seen that one in the state.

A quick glance at the reviews for it doesn't turn up many IL BA's either, at least in the past 6 months.

If you do run into some you know who'd love a heads up

    Cheers!

Well, I found regular Fantome at the Downers Grove Binny's around December and the Hiver at the Naperville Binny's around January, but had one left after the one I took so I doubt any are left. Sounds like I might have to get it on etre gourmet if all else fails.

The Naperville Binny's has the best Belgian import selection I've ever seen. They also had 3F Schaerbeekse Kriek ($37) & Doesjel ($32) if anyone's interested.

yeah its always hit or miss, found a bunch of Magic Ghost in BDale a while back. A lot of Noel was around for awhile and they started discounting it because it didn't sell.

I love the 3F Schaerbeekse but hard to pull th trigger on it for that price. Never seen it under $30

You'll be hard-pressed to get it under $30. Wouldn't mind getting the Schaerbeekse for a special occasion but heard that it doesn't taste that much better than the oude kriek, which is easily half its price.

Forgot about the Noel, thought it was weird when I saw a bunch of it at the Plainfield location, but it made sense after I read some of its reviews.
