Anyone interested in a Fantôme centered tasting? I have an assortment of older/harder to get versions and some of the regulars that I'd love to share with some other Fantôme lovers. I'm looking to host this some Saturday towards the middle of June, in Austin.

I'm down. I have a few Fantomes, some regulars and a Sante 14.
Saturday is probably the worst day for me, but given the amount of time before the tasting I think I should be able to get off.

Awesome. If you don't have anything from Fantome, there is plenty of time to trade for something! Due to the extreme bottle variation between even the same batch, overlap in versions should be interesting. So, if a few people bring the "regular/Saison" I anticipate they'll be somewhat different given that I have yet to have a bottle that tasted similar to the next.

    I have a Sante 12, and a Sante 15. Anyone out there have a 13, or anything pre 12?

I'm interested! I had a few fantomes but I drank them all :slight_frown:. I should be able to trade for some though.

If anyone intends to trade for this specifically, here is a list of what I already have:

    Regular Saison
    Printemps
    Pissenlit
    La Dalmatienne (brune/dark)
    Sante 12
    Sante 15

Like I said in the previous post, overlap of specific versions should not be discouraged, given the reputation of batch and bottle variation. I have a few great "rural" locations in mind and will update here as interest increases and I have more information of the precise date and location.

I may be able to attend. I'm out of commission on night shift with no days off until June. Can try to round up a few Fantomes.

I'd be willing to send someone a bottle of Fantome Noel, if anyone's looking.

Yeah, I have a HUGE test on the 9th and I'll be spending the entire month before studying for it, but I would love to come either that night or any time after that date. Can't wait!!!

I'm in Houston and I'm very interested in this. I've got some Black and White and a few saisons.

I will try to get my hands on some Fantome. This sounds like the perfect tasting for the summer.

How ironic I was just responding to a guy in my Facebook beer group about Fantome. I may be able to manage getting some via trade by June...

Help me out here please. What is the major differences in the Fantome beers being as the majority are all farmhouse/saisons. Thanks.

Spices, herbs, and hops. The brewer literally goes walking in the woods behind his farmhouse and picks random things to throw in to some of his beers.
