Is fantome hiver highly sought after? Should I be able to get a bottle of darkness for it?

Hiver sits on shelves around me pretty much year round.

It has taken about a year to move five or six cases at my store. I'm down to four bottles or so. It's not exactly sexy. B
That said, if this supposed smokiness keeps up, none of them will be.

Fantome in general doesn't hold much value, aside from the super limited stuff that doesn't see US shelves. With prices up to $15+ per bottle, I know I'm personally done playing the scratch ticket lottery that is Fantome. Way too many inconsistent bottles to justify that kind of price tag. Back when they were $8 I didn't mind as much.

Your BA Blackout Stout could probably get you Darkness.

Extra sour seems to hold a decent pull, other than that the regulars all seem to trade for similar locals since they are fairly attainable if you call a few stores before starting to hunt.

Man, I wish it was as easy for me to get Fantome as it seems to be for all you guys! I have yet to see a single bottle in Columbus in the last year or so.

Just the regular ol' Saison, really.

Ah, well, I don't know where to get that one, I'm sorry if I got your hopes up.

While we're talking about Fantome, can we talk about the ridiculous bottle variation?

I've tried two bottles of Extra Sour: one was the best sour saison I'd ever had (better than Juicy and Mimosa) and the other tasted like spoiled over-carbed orange juice.

I've had similar issues with their regular saison. What's up with this brewery? This is retail not a basement homebrew competition.

Looks kind of like a basement to me.
