Just curious if anyone has had a bad experience with them. I ordered hops from them and I used USPS and the shipping was a train wreck so the package was sent back to them for no reason . So I ordered again and paid thru paypal and asked them to credit me for the order that went back. So far no response to 2 emails and the guy on the phone said no problem and wanted no part of taking the order number.
I've placed maybe a half a dozen orders through them without a problem. You said he said "no problem" but that wanted no part of taking the order number? I don't quite follow
I've never had a problem with Farmhouse. Though I have had plenty of problems with USPS. You said "the shipping was a train wreck so the package was sent back to them for no reason." Not sure I understand what happened? Sounds like a USPS problem. That said I would definitely expect the vendor to refund a product that I didn't receive.
I am in no way blaming them for the screw up in the first package being sent back to them, but I don't get not responding to my emails for the credit and telling me on the phone they didn't need my order # to credit my paypal account
They will most likely sort it out when they receive the returned hops. If not, then you can commence with a Farmhouse internet hissy fit.
They have done well by me. I have probably used them for about 25% of my ingredient orders in the last 3 years, as well as some kegging equipment. There was a time where I contacted them about a perceived order mistake. However, it turned out that the mistake was mine, and they were very responsive. I have not hesitated to used them again.
Yes. It's OK to have a hissy fit now. Feel free to kick it up a notch. A full on meltdown is appropriate at this juncture.
Yeah, I would definitely keep calling until you get a satisfactory response. Don't bother with emails, they're too easy to ignore.
