LB does NOT make even marginal beer. All offerings are above average-stellar. Highly recommended.

While not a brewery or bottle shop there's also J Timothy's in Plainville which is a well known restaurant with an excellent tap list that includes many local beers. They're famous for their "dirt wings" as well.

I'd recommend J Timonthy's in Plainville. The best tap list in the area and it's only a few minutes from Farmtington depending on where you are staying. I think they have 6 lines dedicated for just CT breweries which isn't a lot but it's well curated. Also the best wings in the state (double dirt wings). Be aware it's usually pretty busy at all times of the day. Their tap list online is up to date https://jtimothys.com/drinks/beers/

I live in Farmington. Nothing is super close by me but I don't know where you'll be staying.

Relic is good but very small and not much of a chill/hang out place.

I would really recommend Five Churches. They're open Monday, Thursday and Friday for the week days. Get a pour of Steeple People or Some day they will be here so they don't get fined, and a pizza of course.

I would also recommend New Park on Thursday or Friday. The beer there is top notch

Just read some posts above and that you'll be there an extra week. MAKE SURE you go to J.Timothy's and get wings

Thanks again for all the input. Was at J Timothy's in 2010 and was surely planning to go back!

    Tentative plan for next week.
    Monday 5 churches.
Tuesday 4 eat & drink taco night. Its directly across the street from hotel.
    Wednesday J Timothy's
Thursday New Park. Hoping to get a cab from Farmington Inn, should be able to?
Friday Tree House on way home.

Looks like a good week of training!

Farmington Inn is actually in a great spot for all of the places listed. J. Tims is straight down main street which runs from the country club. You should have no problem getting an Uber

Naples Pizza is across the street from you as well (backside of Starbucks). Awesome pizza with always a couple good beers on tap. And Wood N Tap a little further up Rt 4 is solid too if you're looking for a night cap after one of those trips above....

Huge beer store few miles from Tree House. Will give you access to many more breweries.
