I had three batches of the version of fatamorgana made in maryland and the crazy mountain version is nowhere near as good as the original. I've had all of the crazy mountain omnipollo beers that have made it to nyc and none of them are anywhere near as good as the stuff de proef makes for omnipollo.

really sad to see one of the better european brewers available here dilute the quality of their beer so much.

    Chiming in on this convo.

Just opened a Fatamorgana bottle brewed by Crazy Mountain....

The age and time frame might take away from the beer but it reminds me of an Other Half IIPA. A true imperial IPA: a clear, boozy and lightly tropical, almost farmhouse-ish beer.

I'm disappointed only because I bought this beer for the haziness/aroma I kept hearing about. Sadly, that isn't the beer I am currently drinking.... and have 3 more bottles of in the fridge.....
