Hi guys - newbie here so I apologize in advance for the question. I purchased a new property which had a kegerator. I purchased a new keg yesterday, cleaned the lines in advance, and hooked it up after sitting for 4 hours. It was foaming at first but then settled.

The issue I am having is when I pull the handle all the way forward and the faucet is fully open, it stops pouring. It will only pour when 3/4th's open.

How should I approach this? I am still getting beer out so it's not the end of the world, but I would like to get it fixed.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Did you disassemble and clean the faucet?

I used the keg connection kit and cleaned the lines twice and let the faucet and coupler sit in the bucket for 20 minutes before scrubbing them with the small brushes included. I did not disassemble the faucet.

You need to do disassemble. Lots of places for junk to accumulate.

Turns out the shaft was pretty beat up from where you put the lever in. This cause it to open up more than what it should. A few replacement parts fixed the problem.
