Just added a Station 33 Firehouse Red to a crock pot of corned beef and cabbage before I left for work this morning, so I guess I have at least some adoration for it! Can't recall all that many I've had otherwise.

Haven't really tried many Irish Reds, although I've tried Killians (not Irish). On this fine St. Patty's Day, I do love a good Murphy's Irish Stout!

    Cheers!

I don't usually see many Irish Red beers, so my favorite is the one that I see about this time every year. That one would be from my home brewery, Arcadia, and the beer is called Brigid's Irish Red, which unfortunately does not go into distro. I'm headed downtown in a few minutes for some Irish food and a pint of this beer for lunch to celebrate the day.

Really enjoyed Sam Adams Brick Red. That said I am going to pop a Great Lakes Conway's Irish Red tonight--so perhaps a new favorite to add to my list.

Mine is local only, but Lady Luck Irish red by Karben4 in Madison is great.

Three Floyds Brian Boru and Cigar City Tocobaga (the later is an American, but it tastes similar to the former, which is listed as Irish).

Smithwick's when in Ireland. Conway's from Great Lakes when on this side of the pond. In fact, I have a nice Conway's in hand right now. Happy St. Paddy's Day,

I just finished up a Conway's. To me, it has a slight tea taste on the back end. Bready/biscuity up front. All without being too sweet.

Really, a satisfying, interesting brew. For anyone who claims not to like "craft" beer, this is one I'd hand them right away.

A little under-rated here and GL's other beers are more talked about. But I'm glad they brew this as a seasonal...something to look forward to. Now, bring back The Wright Pils!
