Favorite ABV

So should this statement be attributed to the Delirium part or to the Dreams part of your name?

Could go either way, really.

 

If I'm at a bar and I spot something I've never had that looks interesting in the sub-5% range, I'm picking that over the 10% stout every time. I've had plenty of great well balanced beers in that range and can kick back with an honest pint, enjoy time with friends, and still drive home an hour or two later. Not as tolerant to alcohol as I used to be either. A sixer of just about anything is going to leave me fucked up with whiskey dick. That's just not a fun night in my book.

 

Short answer would be 7-9%


I tend to find the most enjoyment out of beers in the 7-9% range. Enough flavor for me to enjoy it yet not to heavy on the abv to get me jacked up too quickly. I love me some bigger beers but they put the hurt on pretty quickly. I've really started getting back to enjoying some of the lower abv stuff again as well(sours, wit, etc...)

 

Depends. If I'm out at a bar or restaurant, I prefer 6% or less. At home, it doesn't matter, as long as it tastes good.

 

Usually depends on the situation but would have to say 8% if I am only allowed to give one number. And interesting how that is the ABV that both PTE and HT clock in at.
