Favorite Adjunct in a BA Stout???

Chocolate and cherries.

 

Coffee for sure, and something sweet...maple syrup, honey, chocolate, etc

 

Love the subtle heat from a chili pepper that builds as you drink a stout (BA or not).

 

Roasty Coffee please, vanilla, chocolate, are almost as nice.

 

When it is done right, coconut kills it. Unfortunately, most breweries use way too little and you get only a hint. This year's ANTEAD Coconut was exactly what it should be and one of the best beers I ever have tasted. A more accessible good job is Boulevard's Imperial Stout with coconut.

 

That looks definitely worth a try. I'll have to put it on my "want" list.

 

If I have to pick a Stout adjunct, I guess I'll vote "oatmeal".

 

I went with coffee, then chocolate. I also love peppers that lil bit of heat is great.

 

I'd have to go with coffee here for sure.
