I've had many, but MBC Zoe is numero uno. Nugget Nectar comes in at a distant second. What is the consensus here...?

I actually like Red Wheelbarrow a lot more than Zoe.

Fresh Zoe is an acceptable substitute for when fresh Nugget Nectar is not available.

Yeungling though. To some not craft, whatever, its the most balanced imo. I dont like overly hoppy reds

    My favorite Amber/Red Ale......Sixpoint's Global Warmer...if it's "Classified" as a Amber/Red Ale.

Also love O'Dell's Run Off Red IPA. I also wish New Belgium would bring back Red Hoptober!

Creature Comforts Reclaimed Rye. Not a hoppy red (Zoe and Nugget Nextar are basically red IPAs), but it has marvelous complexity and depth of flavor as it warms, rivaling many great imperial stouts in this regard. The oak aging adds a great vanilla note.

I know, Sixpoint leaves the style ambiguous, which I dig. It came off to me as a Hoppy Amber/Red Ale.

Great Lakes Nosferatu! Honestly, I like it more for the label, but it's still really good. Steel Toe Rainmaker is another good one.
