    Just had a great local one this afternoon. Demented Scarlet Night Red Ale. Definitely on the malty side. Loved it!

    According to my ratings its Port Brewing Shark Bite Red Ale, however, I've had other red/amber ales that I think are better like Anderson Valley Boont Amber Ale, Green Flash Hop Head Red, and Bear Republic Red Rocket Ale.

    Amber and Red are completely different colors so I refuse to answer this question until the beer world acknowledges that Amber is part of the yellow family!!!

    I don't get Nugget Nectar, I mean it's ok, but it's not worth standing in line for, or making a special trip.
