Is there such a thing as a good one? My fiending has not been satisfied for 3 years since last visiting Prague. The closest thing I have found is Kelso Pilsner.

Any recommendations you can provide would be awesome!

Lagunitas Pils and Oskar Blues Mama’s Little Yella Pils are both good choices. Definitely true that the high quality and well priced pilsners in Prague are very enjoyable. Great city.

Mamas lil yella pils is tasty. I like it straight from the can. That being said I am not sure it can hang with the european examples.

It may not help you much as it is draft/growler only in and around Austin, Texas but:

Sam Adams Noble Pils is the best pilsner I have ever had.

Firestone Pivo Pils, one of my favorite beers. But I bet its too hoppy for style.

Agree with the Pivo Pils and have to add Victory Prima Pils.

I'm just not a fan of Lil Yella Pils, I find it very average.

Noble is probably one of the best readily available Czech pils around, but it can't hold a candle to some of the top rated and harder to get Czech and to some of the German pils'.

Both great pils', but neither are Czech style as the OP asked about.

Although I've never had it, I have heard nothing but stellar opinions of Reality Czeck....I really need to try that one. My favorite Czech pils' are from Victory with some of their Braumeister series beers. Stellar.

The best American-brewed Czech-style Pilsner isn't brewed anymore; New Glarus' Bohemian Lager. They nailed this style to the flavor Pilsner Urquell had when lagered in wood barrels, I wish they'd bring it back.

As to other U.S. brewed Pilsners labeled as Czeck/Bohemian, they're all either German-style (SN Summerfest) or Americanized Pilsners using (usually over using) untraditional hops so the flavor comes off more APA than Pilsner.

    Rant over.

Narragansett Boh Pils. Six pack16oz cans under $8-10 can't be beat. Pretty much my summer go to. Its sold in many places in MA so never hard to find! Perfect beach and cookout beer!

Best American brewed Czech Pilsners (Bohemian Pilsners):

Victory: Hip Czech Pilsner, Braumeister Pils - Saaz
    Sly Fox: Charles Bridge Pilsner

I once had the Sly Fox Charles Bridge Pilsner unfiltered (a Keller version) and that beer was glorious!

Another good US brewed Czech Pilsner based upon my readings is Moonlight Reality Czech.

    Cheers!
