I've not had a ton of American tripels, but I think Troegs LaGrave is mighty tasty.

I know it gets knocked a lot...But Im gonna come out and say it, I like Left Coasts Asylum. its not in the same ballpark as anything from across the seas or even border for that matter, but in all reality when its available I buy 2 or 3 bottles of Asylum. I think its really well balanced and they do a good job of not masking but making the boozie flavor part of the overall taste. Sadly I cant ever find them anywhere anymore.

I noticed it on the shelves at Hop City in Atlanta about a week or so ago. Spiffy new label, too. So, it should be showing up everywhere else soon.

Not a style that I've had much of, but one that stood out to me was Twenty Knots from AleWerks. And of course both of Allagash's are very solid.

For some time they were labelling Agnus as "Abbey Pale Ale" (as shown in the picture) for the U.S. market. They are now back to the Belgian labelling for the U.S. It looks like a couple people didn't realize this and created duplicate entries, despite the main entry having both variants listed in the name.

My wife likes Midnight Sun "Panty Peeler" and so do I. And "it really, really works!"

Allagash Tripel is probably my favorite but I'll also throw a vote in for Flying Fish Exit 4. Had it on-tap the other night and it was great.

Seems a fair amount of folks don't care too much that OP said 'American' Triple.. Chimay and Westmalle are not in the states folks! Anyway I had myself some Merry Monks on Christmas and was quite pleased! Still gotta go with Curieux as the winner though.
