This was inspired by the Sierra Nevada thread (cheers to that OP), and with all the Bruery love/hate talk going on, I figure why not. I'm curious to see what other BA's thoughts* are. Cheers!

Favorite = Wanderer (HAVE to honorable mention Mocha Wed)
    Least Favorite = Rugbrod

*But let's try and keep this thread on topic and leave all the Bruery bashing/defending on the other multiple threads.

Kumquats was awesome. Heard peaches was better. Hope they make it again.

I make no pretense about it. I am very partial to The Bruery. I find it a world class brewery with world class people from owners on down to shipping clerks. Creative and with what I believe to be some of the most creative brews around - not afraid to take a chance and most work. When you look at the total line up, current and archived, very few problems, especially for a brewery intent on taking chances. I like almost all and have disliked very few. Like many of us in Southern California, I probably have a bottle in my cellar, still, of just about everything bottled.

However, and while I like the creative and the weird, my favorite has always been: Hottenroth Berliner Weisse.

There is also simply no question about my least favorite: Praecocia.

Still, I would buy on faith any bottle of beer The Bruery makes. One is very rarely let down. JMO

The beauty of the Bruery is the chances they take.

My favorite will always be Oude Tart.

There are one offs or retired beers that were awesome.

Least favorite: the beers they are afraid to make which are few and far between.

    Cheers

So many of my favorite/ top rated beers come from The Bruery. It's tough to narrow it down but I'll try.

    Favorite: Grey Monday
    Honorable mention: '12 White Chocolate

Least favorite: Mischief* (with hateful glances toward the infected '13 Barrel Aged Autumn Maple that was undrinkably foul)

    * Mischief is decent but I hold a grudge because it's used to dilute White Oak Sap (which I really wish they'd bottle) to make White Oak.

Just stopped by to offer some hate for Salt of the Earth.

Beyond that, while I havent had a ton, I think they are a great albeit expensive brewery. Melange 3 is my favorite but there's a lot of big time Bruery beers i haven't had.

There are quite a few Bruery beers I'm not a fan of, but hands down my favorite would be their Humulus Lager. Put it in six-packs, gents, and you'll finally get my money on a consistent basis.
