ADWTD has been my favorite BA Barleywine! Aged in Cognac barrels yeah but worth a mention. Also prefer CW over BCBBW.

Some of the best I have had are the Central Water's BBABW, Bell's Saturn, Stone's Old Guardian, and Sierra Nevada's BBA Bigfoot.

Sucuba of course. But can't forget Sierra Nevada BBA Bigfoot Ale. Solid showing from them.

Sucaba is the only current FSW BA I haven't had :slight_frown:. Big foot BA was awesome!

This is my favorite style and I've tried most of the best. The main ones have already been mentioned however there's a few good ones I can add:

For easier ones to get check out
-Dry dock blighs barleywine- this ones fantastic
-Hoppin frog barrel aged naked evil- Belgian yeast adds lots of fruit to this one, but pricey
-Midnight sun arctic devil- classic ba bwine not as good as it used to be tho
    -Hanger 24 hammerhead- it's alright
    - beard envy- doesn't appear to be thought to get but I could be wrong. I really enjoyed this beer a lot!

    Getting harder to get ones
-Pipe works Ba murderous, I've only had batch 2 but it's super tasty
-Coast old nuptial- one of my favs, 1 big batch released twice. Second bottling just as tasty and easier to get
-kuhnenn barrel aged barleywine- low limits I'm surprised no one has mentioned this one yet
    - minding hot sun termination dust. Not sure why the low score but I really liked this one

    And difficult to get
-Aaron, act fast as the longer you wait the harder it will take to get. As crazy as it sounds it tasted like a more refined dark horse ba monster26 I shit you not! Crazy good bwine tho
    - ba hi fi, amazingly good
    - pea body's blendiculous 1, here's a wow beer but extremely limited and 2 years old

I have a ba vermilion I plan to drink soon but from what I can tell people are loving it

The best I've had recently tho is omega point. If u take anything away from this thread GET OMEGA POINT! Before it becomes difficult to get, because I believe it was a 1 time deal and there's a lot out there right now. It's killer

BCBBW is my favorite beer of all time. I am still waiting for my 1st Sucaba. After that BA Bigfoot is amazingly good. Hand and Seal is good.

A lot of good beers already mentioned. I wanted to add Brooklyn's Hand and Seal. This was a really pleasant surprise of a beer.

While I love Bigfoot and thought the BA version was solid, I tend to like English-style barleywines much more in barrels than their American counterparts.

    Some of my favorites are
    • GI Bourbon County Barleywine
    • Against the Grain London Balling
    • Hoppin Frog Naked Evil

Though i'm not big on the style, i found the Central Waters to be quite delectable.

I love this style and BCBBW and MOAS are the best of the best from what I've had. I won't mention King Henry because it will be damn near impossible for you to land a bottle and honestly it's nowhere near what it once was.

Second tier are Sucaba and Central Waters. Honorable mention I have to give a local shout out to Upland and their Barrel Chested but I seem to like it a little more than most.

Aaron is the best I've had, although Sucaba is a really close second. Can't go wrong either way.

Central Waters BBBW is really good, but it needs a few years on it. Otherwise it tastes like acetone.
