Hey guys, just wondering for those of you that went to EBF 2017, what were your favorite beers?

Mine had to be Trophy Brewing's Monkey Way.

    That shit was literally bananas.

    Cheers,

    Dan

Last Buffalo was my favorite followed by all 4 Civil Society pours.

I do agree with the original post Monkey Way was a great beer.

First of all it's crazy how many great beers you enjoy and then read about other people's favorites only to realize you missed so many. That being said these are the ones I remember really liking.

The Lost Abbey - PX 7
Liquid Riot - Taste the Rainbow
    Civil Society - Extra Pulp
Jackie O's - BB Coffee Vanilla Bean Dark Apparition
The Rare Barrel - There Are Rules
Dogfish Head - BBA World Wide Stout
    Kane - Sunday Brunch

I loved the palate-destroying bitterness of Dreamier Rise from Relic.

I think the dark horse champion for me was Blackberry Farms' Four Roses Barrel Aged Quad. Only beer I went back for seconds of. My alphabetical top five would probably be this:

    Barreled Souls - Honey Pot
Balances a profound syrupy sweetness with no abrasive qualities or off-flavors, one of the most impressively crafted beers I've had. Wonder if it would hold up with a larger pour. Too bad they didn't bring the Rum Honey Pot they had listed!

Blackberry Farms - Four Roses Barrel Aged Quad
Rustic woody tartness and texture was an unbelievable addition to a bready, relatively dry quad.

Funky Buddha - Last Buffalo in the Park
Finally got to try this. Don't think it needs an introduction.

    Lost Abbey - PX7
The most unique beer I tasted at EBF. Raw, undeveloped flavors of extremely underripe peach and spoiled white wine. Really far out there, but fascinating and unlike anything else I'll get to try anytime soon.

    The North - Mothra
I try not to lose it over flavored beers that just "omg taste exactly like" the thing they are trying to taste like, but when it's this spot on I cannot help but get hyped. Absolutely nails every element of the California roll, and even throws in a perfectly measured addition of pickled ginger. Mouthwatering.

Only listing first-time tries. Honorable mention to Stickee Monkee, which is maybe the best beer in the whole world, but I've had it outside of EBF. Lots of fun as always.
