    I'm not picking one because it depends entirely on the style of beer. The only colors I don't like are when the beer looks "off". Weird murky gray-ish/gravy looking NEIPAs, chunks/snot-like floaties, brown when the beer isn't supposed to be brown, indicating oxidation, etc.


    Opaque yellow is a nice color for hazy IPAs, but those reallyyyyy milky gray-ish ones you already know are going to be bad just by looking at them.

    Your poll is misleading to people who are too busy to read the comments, at first it looks like you're talking about SRM number and that your poll doesn't even cover half of the colors (we are a forum about an inebriating substance after all) I figured it out pretty quick, but maybe it's getting to be bedtime for me.

    I went with the deep amber as I did it really difficult to get that beautiful red color with homebrewing

    I went with #10. If someone hands me a beer in that color, I'm pretty damned confident I'm going to like it.

    Blackest of black, stouts are my thing, a very dark ale or lager will do in a pinch, but when I can get whatever I want, it should look and pour like very bad motor oil
