I recently had a can of G'Knight that was like a year and a half old and even then it was delicious, like a hoppy doppelbock. Very well made beer imo.

Definitely Ten FIDY for me - which is strange, as it's 98 IBU and I can't do hop-forward beer as a general rule. Something about the chemistry of that one doesn't provoke my "perfume" response, though!

Old Chub, on the other hand, does set off my hop response, which is irksome in a Scotch ale. I've never tried any of their pales or IPAs, for obvious reason, and I've also shied away from their pilsner because of the heavy hand they seem to exhibit on the hop bill - Ten FIDY's IBU, Old Chub triggering my "perfume" reaction, and the like.

I was disappointed by IPA when I tried it- way too heavily carbonated (and I like a nice peppery level of carbonation in an IPA) and way too astringent from the alcohol... between the two the mouthfeel was intolerable to me. Pass.

If I had to pick a favorite, I'd say Ten Fidy. Drank a hell of a lot of Pinner this summer, too. Really, though, I've liked all of the OB beers that I've tried other than IPA.

Ten Fidy and Old Chub are my favorites, but I'm not really a huge fan of either one.

Old Chub NITRO cans are pretty awesome. It makes old chub just a little better.
Do you guys get those on the East Coast?
G'Knight is really tasty as well.

I love Ten Fidy and like Dales but I cannot stand Gubna. To me that beer is awful. Still waiting to try Old Chub.

I used to get Dale's for $3 a pint at Happy Hour at Roebling Tea Room. Miss those days.
