Curious to see what items people have gotten at festivals/releases/special events etc. Examples- specific types of glassware, cool bottle openers, or any types of awesome tickets or specialty wrist bands.
Over the past few years I've gotten a ton of free swag but gave most away when i was selling my house . Couple years ago Mayflower brewing did a vertical of their Thanksgiving ale and they gave away t-shirts with their logo on the front. This morning is saw on facebook they were doing a cask of summer rye and serving their test batch #2 at the B.B.C. half pint in Plymouth so I went down . they had served the test batch #1 at their open house and at a local bar last month and #2 at ABCF last week . This is their final tweeked version and will be bottled soon ( end of month ) it's a session style ipa / pale ale but the didn't want to go with the term session because there's already a ton out there so the named it . Daily ration a reference to the rations served on ships back at the time the Mayflower came over. So any way I was talking to the rep who I've meet a bunch of times and before I left he gave me another t-shirt to add to my collection.
Too late to edit . I've got a dozen or so t-shirts , 3-4 hats and 3 hoodies but I bought all of those . I only consider the freebies as swag . Grabbed a couple bottle cap magnets , a couple pins at the ACBF for a fellow forum member and another bottle opener for myself . I've gotten a ton of openers at the fests but every time I go somewhere and someone needs one I give them which ever I have at the time because I know I'll get another at the next fest.
Not until you show me yours first. We hardly know each other. Swag is always great, but t-shirts are the best! The fine folks at Sun King gave me one at the Firestone fest two years ago and some asshole yanked it out of my backpack when I set it down for a sec. I hope it picked up a tick or poison oak just before he or she put it on.
