Favorite Bourbon Barrel Stout?

    CBS so far. The Black Tuesday and Chocolate Rain I had recently was pretty awesome side by side. I have quite a few others on the list to try though.

    One of the best and most underrated is Central Waters BBS. It's awesome! In fact, I'm sipping on one as I type this...

    I agree with kbs and parabola, and as far as bcbs, it is great, but you have to almost race to finish it before it warms up too much, resuting in the cloying/ too syrupy texture.

    I would say Central Waters BBS... but my vote goes to CW Fourteen Fourteen - absolutely, insanely delicious.

    I've had some, but not all of those mentioned in the thread... On obvious omission in my humble opinion is Voodoo Black Magick which is as close to flawless as I've come on my beer geek journey...

    I haven't had bourbon county coffee so for now I've gotta go with KBS, the north coast old raspy anniversary brews are always pretty good too.

    Ha, this actually reminds me that I have a bottle of this I need to get around to drinking. I really like the BBS, but I would have to pick Peruvian Morning over it, I think..
