My favorite by far is the special double cream stout. I love the beer and the label art is really cool too - gives you a very desolate kind of winter vibe.

Hopslam. It's the only brew I've had from Bells but I doubt anything will better it

Expedition is a great beer. Keeping in mind I've never had Black Note. Hopslam is within my favorite category, but probably isn't even my top two from Bell's.

Contrary to most, I've never been a huge fan of Bells. Their beers never seem to blow me away. With that said, I would probably say Oberon or Hopslam (although, HS wasn't mind blowing like the hype made it out to be). I still want to give Black Note Stout a try.

Of the dozen or so beers that I've tried from Bell's, I'd say the only one that I think is "great" is Hopslam, and even it didn't live up to the hype that I expected.

Black note is my favorite beer made by Bells.
In my opinion it is right there with bourbon county stout as the best bourbon barrel stouts

Expedition is a great beer. Gets better with age. Just had a bottle from Dec. 2013 yesterday night.

Java Stout, Best Brown and Two Hearted.

Yes I've had Hopslam and Black Note, I appreciate beers more that I can find at the store

Oh and for that very same reason, Expedition is underrated. Plus it is sold in six packs.

I've only had seven different beers from Bells: the Amber, the Best Brown, the Cherry Stout, the Christmas, the Kalamazoo Stout, the Porter, and the Special Double Cream Stout, and I've thoroughly enjoyed them all. But to pick a favorite...I guess I'd have to go either the Best Brown or the Kalamazoo stout.

There's several more that I'm dying to try though, specifically, the Black Note, and Expedition Stout!
