Trader Joes in the Bay Area has Elysian Superfuzz Pale for $5.99/6pack right now. Pretty good pale with nice citrus bitterness from the blood orange, plus it's a treat since Elysian doesn't even distribute to NorCal.

Well....Hoptimum and Saison Diego went on clearance for $4 a 4-pack so I got a case of each. Cheap and crafty!

It's hard to beat the likes of SN, SA, NB, Summit, Schell, etc. for craft six/twelve packs on a budget. Many times one of them is on special to be had in the $6.99 or cheaper per six pack range. For my dollar, that's a pretty good deal for good beer.

Since you said you like Brown Ales, Sierra Nevada Tumbler is pretty good and where I live costs about $7.99 per six pack.

Boston Lager. I can buy it from any store that sells beer and I feel it's something I could drink with just about any meal.

Abita doesn't get much love here, but I rather like Jockamo and Turbodog, and they're usually $8/6 around here compared to $9 or $10 for most others.

I'm a big Torpedo fan. What a great deal at $12 a 12-pack at Total Wine and More in the East PHX area.
