Because I live just an hour away from DFH and every other store sells it, I can always find 60, 90, Raison, Indian Brown Ale and a few other between $9-$12 which is an awesome perk.

I need to start keeping track of beer prices... I don't feel like I ever see deals like the ones mentioned... for me SN is usually $9/6. or $17/12. I see great lakes on occasion for $15/12 and think that's a good deal - it's normally around $8/6. And if I can get Stone IPA for $24 or $25/24 at costco I might have to buy a membership... I'd looked at beer prices at sams/costco in the past and never been impressed. I was a 6 of stone IPA yesterday at a walmart and it was $11.47 I believe. It's normally $10.99 at krogers... this is in SW ohio/N. KY.

and to answer the question my cheap beer is SN or great lakes. Got both in the fridge right now... torpedo and burning river.

I also agree that there are some good cheap bourbons out there.. heaven hill green label 6yr is my favorite. About $16-17 for a 1.75L. Old Crow isn't bad either and it's even cheaper $14-15 for a 1.75L. Another option for us cheap drunks is box wine... NO... not those giant 5L boxes of franzia. But the 3L boxes from Bota, FishEye, black box, etc... about $20 or $5 a (750ml) bottle.

Saranac Sampler 12 packs. Usually can get them for about $13.99 a 12 pack which is great price considering my usual mix-6er of various crafts runs $15 on average. I can get 2x the beer for about the same price. Many Saranac's are bland, too light in flavor, but there are some fantastic ones in those sampler packs as well.

I wish man, over here I generally pay 11.69 a 6 pack. Brekle's and this Porter being two of my favorite if they we're that cheap it would be in my fridge at all times. I have found Anchor Stream beer at one store for 9.69 so I pick that every month or so.

I'm what one would call a daily drinker but can't afford to hit the $9 22oz bottles every day, the wife would kill me!
I always have more reasonably priced beers on hand, although I do keep a few bottles of the good stuff and enjoy a couple a week.
My go to's during those sad times of not popping a monster is Sierra Nevada's Torpedo and Lagunitas IPA as they are relatively inexpensive and tasty. The 7.2% on the Torpedo isn't bad either!

Sierra Nevada hands done for my budget beer at any grocery store. Regular line up is good and a nice price. The seasonals (Narwhal, Bigfoot, etc) are a steal at $9 a 4-pack. Can you say Celebration!

Fremont Brewing is my local budget beer. Their regular line up of canned 6-packs are tough to beat

Uinta Hop Notch, Thomas Hooker Hop Meadow, Summit Saga, ... these three are outstanding values in quality, solid IPAs each one of these would be worth it at a higher price...Magic Hat Blind Faith or HIPA good beers that are slightly cheaper than those first three and their price is an accurate reflection of their quality and flavor...next step down if you can find them in stand alone containers (I see it mostly in variety cases) Dundee's IPA...costs less than Magic Hat it's drinkable, but you "taste" the price...then Schlitz and Pabst ...finally rock bottom (I'm somewhat ashamed to admit that I drink it) Ice House.

North coast old rasputin imperial russian stout! At $6.99/4 pack and sometimes less. If cost was an issue this would be my everyday beer. Founders breakfast stout is my second choice

Sierra Nevada and Lagunitas are great choices.

If you're looking for a good, cheap dubbel or tripel (styles that don't lend themselves to being cheap), New Belgium has you covered with Abbey and Trippel.

this is my most pondered question. at times bc my taste buds want a break. others bc I'm cheap. but mostly my taste does not coincide with my wallet. esp with a newborn.

What I am in search of (after enjoying many top beers and establishing my cheap rotation ) is the cheapest of the solid quality beers. it just may be Sierra Nv Pale Ale and Torpedo. low $30/case range.

enjoy PBR and lion's head on the cheap get me by. just grabbed a case of Yuengling Porter for a more flavorful cheap brew

Full Sail is usually seen for $5.99 a sixer. Good price, okay beer. For a buck more you can usually have your choice of SN or New Belgium though, and it's worth the $1 extra.
