We're seeing more and more of our favorite craft beers appear in cans. An advantage for many of us is that our fallen soldiers, when properly crushed, take up much less room in the recycling bin and lessen the judgement of our neighbors…:grimacing:

I enjoy trying the same beer out of both a can and bottle. Sometimes they taste the same, sometimes not.

My favorites, (in no particular order):

    -Centennial
    -Hop Notc(s)h
    -And this:

When Two Hearted comes out in cans, it will be my #1 by default. There's gonna be a lotta cans in my recycling bin -- and the neighbors can go fuck themselves!:grinning::stuck_out_tongue::sunglasses:

What are your favorite can and bottle combos?

Funny you should bring this up. Just today I did a side-by-side taste test with a bottle and a can of Yuengling. The can won by a long shot! Not that the bottle was horrible, but the can was noticeably fresher and smoother and just plain old tasted better. I've been drinking SN Torpedo from a can for a while now. I'm sold. Given a choice it will always be a can now.

Arcadia puts their Whitsun and their Sky High Rye in cans now, and I'm pretty sure that the brewery still bottles both beers too.

The only bottle/can combo in my parts would be SN torpedo. Not bad by any means.

Sculpin, Big Eye,Torpedo, Hop Ottin, Barney Flats, SNPA, Baba Black Lager, I have had all these out of a can and bottle. I love cans hopefully more breweries can their beers. Availability is an issue for me right now.

Agree with the Hop Nosh. But... while Ten Fidy is one of my favorite stouts, it's not in bottles, too.

Love the Hop Notch/Nosch. I have yet to try the Perpetual IPA in cans but I did have some draft this weekend and that may well be my next purchase. Looking forward to the Two Hearted cans as well.
Torpedo from cans is superior to bottles, imo.
I am currently drinking a canned Lavery Madra Allta IPA. I am most definitely down with this growing canned craft beer trend.

If Founders is so worried about the short shelf life of Red's Rye maybe they should can it. Seems like it would help keep longer, no? Soo much better than Centennial. I would love to see that.
