i just think it's funny how sam jumped into the site with his post as though DFH was the saving grace of craft beer when all he was doing was his job which is to protect the name and reputation of his company. basically an infomercial with a disingenious spin on the overall discussion. think about it. people praise and bitch about every beer in existence on this site 24 hours a day seven days a week - yet when some (and it was only some) criticism is leveled at DFH the owner takes it on himself to post here and spin the message as though those that dislike his beer are vapid idiots. $$$$$ in play now.

 

Thats fine. But this thread is asking what is your favorite DFH? Its not asking; "Why do you not like Sam?"

So which is your favorite?

 

actually, sam spoke out against the "X is overrated" thread in general, and basically scolded people for stepping into a largely positive, supportive culture (craft beer) and shitting on it with dumb threads like "i don't like sam adams anymore." he was right, too.

 

Wow! I don't really ever see them getting blasted... Not sure where you're coming from. I LOVED everything I've tried from them so far.

I have a couple 120mins sitting downstairs and haven't tried them yet. They are a LITTLE hard to find here in Michigan though unfortunately.

 

Johnny Cask 75 mins, spot on !

 

Olde School and Palo Santo are both awesome

 

I love Squall and Aprihop! 90 Minute is always a good choice too.

 

Burton Baton

 

Throw in 90 Minute and there are my top three. See you in August, Rehoboth brewpub!

 

90 Minute and think their Punkin is maybe my favorite out there in that style.

I have enjoyed most of what I have tried, some, not so much. 60, and 90 are solid. I also really liked burton baton. Had the Noble Rot the other day. It was delicious.

 

The only DFH beers I buy these days are Chicory Stout and Festina Peche. If Bitches Brew was made year round and in 4-packs I would buy that shit up like a loon.

 

Not sure why they get bashed on here but, Hellhound is my favorite.

 

Yepper that is one fine beer, too bad its so expensive and rare.

 

Aprihop and WWS with about 2 years on it.
