Founders Harvest, for sure, but if it's like last year I'll be lucky to get a four pack or two.

In truth, I have been looking forward to Southern Tier's Harvest Ale season perhaps a bit more because I know that I can go back for it again and again. Damn nice beer, that.

I'll also grab a case of Hofbrau O'fest, and a handful of Ayingers.

I kind of enjoyed Sam Adam's new hazelnut brown. Looking forward to Pumpking.

Really sad DFH doesn't ship to OK, but it opened me up to Shipyard's Pumpkinhead and SA Octoberfest (coworker nearly reached across the counter to bitchslap a customer who vehemently declared "It's not real Oktoberfest, yet" when he saw our SA display). Still a few I haven't tried. Any opinions on Warsteiner's Oktoberfest? Really wanna try Pumpking.

So, on the subject of fall beers and pumpkins, can anyone give me an idea when Elysian's pumpkin selection usually starts hitting? This is the first year we've started getting their products in Pittsburgh and I've been on the lookout for any of their three to start showing up.

Locally, I'm excited about Olde Mecklenburg's Mecktoberfest (which will be released tomorrow) and NoDa Brewing's Gordgeous. I had but a taste of the latter at last year's Oktoberfest, and that was before NoDa was actually open and brewing on the big system.

Like most of you, I'm also looking forward to Founders Breakfast Stout and a myriad other pumpkin ales.

I haven't given what I'll drink this fall too much thought yet. I still have work to do finishing what I have in the fridge for summer, but I suspect I'll gravitate to some barleywines & strong ales.

ANCHOR HUMMING! I had some at the brewery tour recently and it's drinking beautifully, huge nose of Nelson hops and really refreshing. Can't wait to see it on shelves.

Founders Breakfast Stout, Stone Double Bastard and Berkshire Brewing Company Oktoberfest! Actually I tried the breakfast stout already and it is fantastic. What's also fantastic is the two cases in my basement. Coffee taste is real strong due to just being bottled on 8/1.

COAST Rye Knot Brown. I typically don't like browns or ryes, but I love this beer. It is usually a one batch per fall beer. Wish they would make it through the winter.
