Southern Tier's Pumking is the GF's favorite Tried Elysian's The Great Pumpkin last week, she loved it, so we stocked up. Saint Arnold's Pumpkinator I like. Looking forward to having Cigar City's Good Gourd and Midnight Sun's Treat next month.

Pics of it in bottles are showing up on untappd, so hopefully it sees wider distribution this year.

Cannot wait to try this. I'm sure it'll be $20+ a bottle in Philly though, if it makes it here at all this year.

WTF is going on this year with pumking? This is my first year living back in Pittsburgh and it's either sold out or $14 for a bottle!!!! Saw one place selling a growler for $29!!!!!!!!!!!

I never had problems getting this beer before. Am I missing something or did the hype train leave the station?

Is it like this in other areas?

Bonus is that it is on tap in every other bar.

Up in Philly too. Was $11ish a bomber last year, now $13-$14. Boo-urns to that.

I was just getting ready to say Harpoon's UFO pumpkin. This was my first time trying it and I was pleasantly surprised. I really like the spices in this one.

I'm still a fan of Sam Adams Harvest Pumpkin. Not the best pumpkin beer I have had, but definitely my favorite. Very drinkable, cheap, and available. I look forward to it every year.

It may not be on any top ten lists as of yet, but I'm loving Evolution's Jaques au Lantern. I've had it the last two tears on draft and was really impressed. And this year, out of the bottle for the first time, it doesn't disappoint. Keep you eyes peeled mid-Atlantic, as I can see this picking up some serious hype in the coming years.

I havent had Smashed Pumpkin, Good Gourd, or Schlafly, but those would probably fill out the rest based on what I read of this thread.

There is a reason The Great Pumpkin is the #1 rated pumpkin beer here on BA. One of my all time favorite beers.

My four favorites are Smuttynose Pumpkin Ale, CBC The Great Pumpkin Ale, DFH Punkin Ale, & Brooklyn Post Road.

I wouldn't pass up a BBC Harvest Pumpkin Ale or Shipyard Smashed Pumpkin.

I would love to try Cisco Pumple Drumkin & Williamsburg Alewerks Pumpkin Ale to see if they could make my short list.

Had Good Gourd this weekend and thought it was excellent. Tough decision with that and Schlafly for me. Pumking is also pretty good.

generally speaking, pumpkin beers taste much better these days than they did just five years ago.
